Technique Tip of the Week: CROSS TRAIN

As the 2012 competition and performance season comes to a close, it’s important to use this time to prepare for next year! Often dancers wait until they are selected to compete/perform to start putting the work in, but I encourage you to use this time to develop and grow. The 2013 performance opportunity will just be the icing!

Listed below are some ideas to help expand your dance repertoire.


Take a stretch class once per week to increase flexibility.

Develop the muscles that support your pole movement with a strength, conditioning or sculpting class.

The Choreography House Instructors and Students are traveling to Las Vegas to train with various performers from Cirque du Soliel to expand our dance repertoire.
