CONCEPT: CREATIVE POLEOGRAPHY
DUE january 15, 2020 On or before 11:59p (PST)

SUBMISSION FORMAT: ‘UNLISTED’ VIDEO LINKS

MONTHLY CREATIVE ASSIGNMENT

Select a 3-5 minute song and create a Creative Poleography routine by stacking the Linear Sequencing method. Submit a video link demonstrating your performance.

PART ONE

  1. POLE COMBINATIONS Connect 3-5 Pole Tricks from the three Creative Poleography Categories to create a Pole Combination. Be sure include a minimum of one move per category. Repeat as necessary.
  2. NON-POLE COMBINATIONS Using the inspiration of the Intro to Heelz choreography, create a new Non-Pole Combination. Repeat as necessary.
  3. REHEARSE AND REPEAT Train your Pole and Non-Pole Combination(s) until memorized

PART TWO

  1. SELECT 3-5 MIN SONG Choose from a variety of styles and genres
  2. LINEAR SEQUENCING Stack your combinations to complete choreography for your selected song:
    • Pole Combination + Non-Pole Combination + Pole Combination…
    • Non-Pole Combination + Pole Combination + Non-Pole Combination…
  3. REHEARSE AND REPEAT Train your Linear Sequence to the music until memorized
  4. PREPARE TO DANCE Set up your camera to document your performance
