The Choreography House is the first 24 hour pole dance training and rehearsal studio in the world! With over 60 weekly classes and open pole sessions, our studio offers the most variety of classes each led by a diverse pole, dance and fitness staff. Our unique curriculum provides dancers with the most well-rounded pole dance training in the greater LA area!

BALLET FOR POLE DANCERS (BEGINNING)

This class is designed to teach the basics of ballet technique specifically for pole dancers. Class includes a dance based warm up and introduction to (vertical) barre technique.

BALLET FOR POLE DANCERS (INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED)

This class is designed to teach Intermediate/Advanced Ballet Technique, specifically for pole dancers. Class includes a dance based warm up, technique and across the floor exercises

CORE CIRCUIT

Get ready to SCULPT your ABS with this circuit training class designed to electrify your core.

CREATIVE POLEOGRAPHY

This 90-minute class is a Signature Choreography House class designed to teach dancers how to learn and retain pole choreography as well as begin creating their own pole performance pieces.

Minimum Skill Requirements:
-Climb
-Ground and Aerial Inversions

CHINESE POLE TECHNIQUE

Learn to tumble, flip and fly through the air like a Chinese pole acrobat in this awesome pole technique class. Students should be Advanced Level Dancers or higher. Level: Advanced+

Minimum Skill Requirement(s): -Shoulder Mounts -Handsprings -Armpit Grips -Elbow Grips -Split Grip Variations

CONTEMPORARY DANCE

In this class, students will learn contemporary dance choreography perfect for transitions and innovative floor movement. This class explores different elements such as intention, rhythm, musicality and texture to create dynamic phrasing in your non-pole movement.

Skill requirement: All levels are welcome

DIRTY TALK

It’s not what you say, but how you say it! This 90 minute non-pole, dance class is a naughty workout that will arouse your senses through playful floor work and sensual movement. Learn how to say what you mean without uttering a word. Intrigued?! Good!

Minimum Experience Recommended: None
Attire: Sexy!

EXTREME STRETCH AND CONDITIONING

This class will combine contortion techniques and conditioning training to enhance a variety of pole dance movement. Extreme Stretch will work on both active and passive flexibility and Pole Conditioning will focus on the whole body: arms, legs and core, both individually and combined. With pole dance and tricks in mind, this class will build strength, increase agility and develop muscle memory.

Minimum Experience Recommended: None

HEAD OVER HEELS PRE-PROFESSIONAL

This is a professional level class that infuses the most challenging and rigorous pole movement from around the world in HEELZ! Studying the works of the current top pole athletes, dancers will learn innovative tricks, transitions and combinations perfect for competitors and performers alike. Dancers will learn to master movement perfected by the PROS while maintaining the sexy swag that made us all fall in love with pole in the first place!
Minimum Skill Requirements: Ground/Arial Inversions-Ground/Arial Shoulder Mounts; Climbing (various); Handsprings (multiple grips); Armpit Grips and Elbow Grips

HAND BALANCING

This 90-minute class will combine handstand conditioning, technique and combinations both on and away from the pole. During the first portion of class, dancers will receive instruction on ways to develop their freestanding handstands/presses, as well as learn various acrobatic elements to incorporate into floor work. During the second portion of class will focus on handstand and forearm tricks on and around the base of the pole.

Level: Mixed (Intermediate to Pre-Professional)

Minimum skill requirements:
-Ability to kick up into a handstand both on and away from the pole
-Ability to hold a handstand against the wall or pole for a minimum of 30 seconds

HIPS, BUNS AND THIGHS…OH MY!

This high energy class is designed to strengthen and tone the hip, butt and thigh areas using a mix of cardio, conditioning and TWERKING exercises.

All levels welcome! No prior experience necessary.

INTRO TO JAZZ

This 90 minute non-pole, dance class is designed to teach students the basis of jazz dance and how to apply it to performances and routines. Class begins with a dynamic warm up and across the floor exercises. Dancers will then learn a jazz dance combination that is musically and technically inspired. Take your floor movement to the next level with this exciting class!

Minimum Experience Recommended: None
Wardrobe: Workout Clothing (layer recommended); jazz shoes optional

LATIN BURLESQUE

Learn the hottest moves from salsa to tango to bachata with a sexy twist. Make your pole performances sizzle, latina-style!

Minimum Experience Recommended: None

Wardrobe: Sexy Workout Clothes and Heels with ankle support (optional)

LIQUID

LIQUID is a class created EXCLUSIVELY for The Choreography House! This non-pole workshop will focus on fluid, fierce choreography that will take your dancing to the next level! Drip across the floor while you glide on your toes and melt to your feet.
All levels welcome! No prior experience necessary.

OPEN POLE

60 minute Open Pole Sessions are designed to provide students with time to perfect what is learned in class or work on choreography for a performance or competition. The open pole sessions do not have an instructor present; it is practice time only.

POLE: BEGINNING LEVEL I

READY TO POLE? Each Beginners’ Pole Session will feature the basics of pole dance technique, including spins, climbs and inversions, led by Girl Next Door – a pole dance soirรฉe cast member Arloa. Each dance will learn how to channel their “inner sexy” through this fun fitness program.

POLE: BEGINNING LEVEL II

The Beginner Level II Pole Class focuses on pole combinations and tricks that bridge the gap between Beginning and Intermediate Level I pole instruction. Dancers receive aerial pole instruction involving inversions, shoulder mounts, creative grips, intricate spins and much more! This class is for students that have understanding of basic pole moves; this class is NOT for first timers.

Minimum Experience Recommended: 4-6 Beginning Level I Sessions

Wardrobe: Shorts and Tank Top

POLE: INTERMEDIATE I

Pole: Intermediate Level I Class focuses on pole combinations and tricks that bridge the gap between Beginning Level II and Intermediate Level II pole instruction. Dancers receive aerial pole instruction involving inversions, shoulder mounts, creative grips, intricate spins and much more!

-Inversions from ground
-Arial inversions
-Climbing

Minimum Skill Requirements: Aerial Inversions and Combination Spins

POLE: INTERMEDIATE II

The Intermediate Level II Pole Class focuses on pole combinations and tricks that bridge the gap between Intermediate Level I and Advanced Level pole instruction. Dancers receive aerial instruction involving pole dance combinations including creative mounts, dismounts, transitions and much more!

Minimum Skill Requirement(s):
-Arial inversions
-Climbing (various)
-Shoulder Mounts
-Split Grip Variations
-Elbow Grip Variations

POLE: ADVANCED LEVEL I

Advanced Pole focuses on challenging pole combinations and advanced inversions, holds, spins and drops using a variety of grips. In this class dancers will learn to master movement perfected by the PROS! Join us and take your pole dancing to the next level.

POLE: PRE-PROFESSIONAL

PUMP ROCK

READY TO ROCK? Channel your inner rockstar with pole routines to rock music in this rebellious 90-minute class. ROCK ON!

Level: Mixed (Intermediate to Pre-Professional)
Attire: Heels or Stilettos with ankle support

SPINNING POLE: BEGINNING LEVEL II

This class is for students that are Beginners in Spinning Pole. Each class will focus on tricks, combinations and transitions for specifically designed for spinning pole.

Minimum Experience Recommended: 4-6 Beginning Level I Sessions

Wardrobe: Shorts and Tank Top

SPINNING POLE: INTERMEDIATE

The Intermediate Spinning Pole Class focuses on combinations and tricks that bridge the gap between Beginning and Advanced Spinning pole instruction. Dancers receive aerial pole instruction involving inversions, shoulder mounts, creative grips, intricate spins and much more!

Minimum Skill Requirement(s):
-Inversions from ground
-Arial inversions
-Climbing

SPINNING POLE: ADVANCED

This is an 1.5 long session that will focus on tricks, combinations and transitions for specifically designed for spinning pole.

Minimum Skill Requirement(s):
-Ground/Arial Inversions
-Climbing
-Approval from Intermediate Spinning Pole Class Instructor

STRETCH AND FLEXIBILITY

This 2 hour class is designed for individuals looking to increase flexibility and range of motion for pole, for dance or for life. Class begins with a dynamic warm up and progresses to deep stretching of the hips, shoulders, legs and back. Infused throughout the session are strengthening exercises for muscle control and balance to support active flexibility. Minimum Experience Recommended: None Wardrobe: Workout Wear (Layers recommended)

TURNS AND LEAPS

This 90 minute class begins with a dynamic warm-up followed by technique-based exercises to develop turns and leaps. Take your performance routines to the next level with this exciting class! Wardrobe: Workout Clothes

Minimum Experience Recommended: 3-6 months of Beginning Ballet; students should take Turns and Leaps in conduction with a weekly ballet class

UNLEASHED: A FREESTYLE WORKSHOP

Get out of your heads and get into the movement! Each themed 90-minute session guides dancers through exercises to connect with the music and to UNLEASH your inner dancing diva.

Minimum Experience Recommended: None

Wardrobe: Inhibition-less
